my family routine

This is how my family routine goes about.

My dad who works as an air-con contractor in the factory, had to report to work at 7.30am daily. YES daily including weekends. Therefore he had to leave the house at 6.30am and will only be back at 7pm if there's no OT and 10pm if there is.

My mum who works as a food production worker in Old Chang Kee, will as for usual leave the house at 8 plus am and worked till 10pm, including public holidays but with 2 random off days per week.

Both my younger brother and me were studying in polytechnic now so not much domestic issues to fret about.

So what's our family routine after so much crap above?

The routine will be how limited time we are only able to see our parents. See, if my dad does not have to work overtime, he will buy dinner for us. And dinner will be just the 3 of us. If next day's lessons were to be real early for both my brother and I, we'll be sleeping early and may not see our mum.

When mum's off for the week, dad will not be around(working OT). so dinner's still the 3 of us.

Of course, birthdays and either mother's day or father's day are the only days the 4 of us really see and talk to each other. I'm not lying through my teeth at all. But can only such days then be counted as routine? Like the pathetic 6 days a year?

Practically yes for us. Routine isn't defined as a daily issue for us though.

Hope I will be able to get the tickets, really enjoy ourselves on one of the 6 days, perhaps on the coming father's day.
